Shantell Kwofie

Shantell started her track & field career at a young age. She improved her PB’s at a high rate and started performing at a high level early in her career. Over the years Shantell has had great succes on different events during national championships including a national title in the hepathlon in 2022.

In 2018, when she was 13 years of age, she became 6th at the Dutch National Youth Multi’s Championship where she competed against other kids that where at least one year older than she was. In 2019 she became 3rd at the Dutch National Team Championship and won the National Youth Championship for shotput. At the end of the season she changed coaches and this paid off instantly. In January 2020 she became the National Youth Champion on shotput and 60mH. A month later she became National U18 Champion on the 400m, while she was only 14 years old. Thanks to her success on the 400m, she was invited to go to an International meet with the National Team. They finished 3rd at the meet. Later that year she became National Youth Champion again on the Heptathlon.

Shantell's height is 1.76m (5’7) and her weight is 62kg (136.7 lbs). 

Shantell studies at the the highest level of high school in the Netherlands (VWO). She is an exceptional student and working hard to maintain a GPA of 4.0. She wants to graduate from a top level Medical school.
