Vera Tops

Vera started playing volleyball at the age of 11 at a local club. She joined her current club, Apav Calcinelli-Lucrezia, three years later to play at a higher level. To stimulate her development more. She currently plays for their highest women’s team in the Serie D. 

One of her biggest strengths on the court is her technical game inside. She reads the game extremely well. Vera is a real team player and always ready to motivate others to give everything for the next points. She won’t give up until the last point has been played. 

Her service and attacking skills are her strongest qualities. Her service gives her the ability to score some free points for her team during a match. Attacking wise she knows how to use her height well, which makes her a dangerous attacker. 

Special with her "C" ball behind the setter, she uses her 1 leg approach and length to the fullest. 

During her time in college, Vera wants to become the best volleyball player she can. Specifically, she wants to improve her jumping power more and develop her defending skills. Besides volleyball, Vera hopes to gain a lot of new experience during her time in the US. 

Vera is currently enrolled in her last year of high school,in the highest level of high school in Italy, Liceo. She expects to graduate in June 2024. Vera is mostly interested in biomedical sciences or something related.
