Wout Diesveld

We know Wout to be an extremely hard working player that has a professional mindset on and off the field. He is eager to learn and shows that by voluntarily training extra within PFA Academy with their professional coaches.

Wout is a defensive midfielder/center back that is very simple on the ball, looks to get his teammates involved and makes them play better while he coaches them in their positions. He is a player with a lot of experience against top teams. With de Graafschap and PFA Academy they often play against top professional teams in the Netherlands, but he also has international tournament experience playing against teams like Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, Malaga, Sevilla and Real Betis. The last two years he was an integral part with his team winning the championship both years. He has a very high motor and combines that with great technique and first touch which make him an ideal defensive midfielder. With his passing ability he can easily reach his teammates between the lines and with a long ball over the top which results in him having double digits in assists at the end of the year. If he can't find a simple passing solution he has the technique to dribble past defenders to free himself up.
