Amber van Beugen

Her major strength is her perseverance. She always gives a 100% effort both in training and competitions. Amber doesn't give up easily and is always looking for ways to improve herself and become the best athlete she can possible be. Her determination is evident in her refusal to back down from challenges, always seeking new ways to elevate her performance and reach greater heights as an athlete. Currently, she's  focusing on refining her start technique for both the 100m and 200m events, demonstrating her commitment to constant improvement.

Amber showcased her talents at the Dutch National Championships U20, where she demonstrated her skills on a national stage.

Amber harbors ambitious goals for her athletic career and want to make the most of her time in the US. Her aim is not only to excel for her team but also to leverage the invaluable opportunities offered in the American collegiate system to improve her speed in the 100m and 200m events. By immersing herself in the competitive American track and field scene, she aspires to bring back newfound insights and techniques to further elevate her performance on home soil in the Netherlands.

Beyond her athletic pursuits, Amber is also embarking on an exciting academic journey. This year she started her studies in sports and exercise and she is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2025, she is keenly interested in delving into majors related to human health, aligning her academic pursuits with her passion for sports performance and well-being.
