Danique started playing volleyball at a young age at a local club, in 2023 she made a transfer to a higher level. Last season she played for Zaanstad. She currently plays for Compean. 

Danique is an ambitious setter, with a lot of perseverance. She wants to push herself to the maximum every day to learn new things, and become a better volleyball player. 

One of her biggest strengths is her game insight, besides that Danique has a great coverage of the court. Her best part is that her set-up is consistent. In height and speed. Because of her ability to get under the ball quickly, she manages to have multiple options left in the attack every time.

During her time in college she wants to grow as a volleyball player overall, but specifically she wants to improve her 2nd ball attacking and blocking skills. 

Danique is currently enrolled in high school. She expects to graduate in June 2025 and is planning to take a gap year before starting college in the Fall of 2026. Danique is interested in studying physiotherapy or something related.
