What is the SAT test?

Academic tests - 3 November 2022

The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is a standardized college admission test for universities in America. The test consists of three parts: math, reading comprehension (English) and English writing (essay). For the math and English sections, you can get a score of 800 points per section, so 1600 total. The essay component is not required at most schools, and therefore is not always taken.

The SAT test is designed for students entering America after high school. If you have already attended college or university in your home country, it is usually not necessary to take the SAT.

Slamstox gives you learning tips and materials, helps you register and schedule the test, and sends your scores to the U.S. coaches!
