The United World Games is a large tournament that takes place annually in and around Klagenfurt, Austria. The event is often referred to as a kind of Olympic Games for youth amateur athletes. During the tournament, not only do participants compete at a high level in various sports disciplines, but there are also numerous other activities that set the United World Games apart from other tournaments. These include an elaborate opening ceremony, a player’s village, and much more.
There are a total of twelve different sports in which athletes compete for medals, and around eight thousand participants from thirty countries are expected to take part.
