It’s time for another University Spotlight, and this time we’re featuring Whittier College, a private liberal arts college in California. One of our tennis players, Maas Jacobs, has recently joined the Men’s Tennis team at this university.

Campus

Whittier College is located in the city of Whittier in the state of California. In your first year, you’ll live on campus, and you can choose to stay on campus in the following years as well. The campus offers a wide range of facilities, all conveniently located close to each other to make life easier for student-athletes. These facilities include a newly renovated baseball field, an indoor sports complex, various tennis courts, fitness centers, and more. On campus, there’s plenty to do beyond sports and academics. Various active clubs and organizations offer a wide range of activities, fostering a strong sense of community among students. NCAA Division 3 is the home of Whittier College, where they compete with a variety of sports teams for victory in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). From baseball to tennis, and from swimming to volleyball, there’s plenty of options for sports enthusiasts!

Study

Whittier College is academically strong, making it an excellent choice for a quality education. They offer over 50 majors in various fields, including business administration, biochemistry, engineering, kinesiology, and mathematics.
