Jonas Mund is 17 years old and was born and raised in the Netherlands, but he is actually of German-Portuguese descent. He started playing football at the age of five, influenced by his older brother and father. Football has always been Jonas’ passion; as a young child, he would already play with toy footballs.
In his daily life, Jonas is very calm and balanced. He comes from a large family and is used to living in a large “team.” Jonas is a talented athlete and is highly disciplined. He is not just defensive in his position as a left-back; due to his experience in other positions, Jonas is also very proficient in attack.
In America, Jonas wants to combine high-level sports and studies because this isn’t possible in the Netherlands. He is also looking for a professional environment where he can train every day and bring out the best in himself. In the future, Jonas is determined to stay involved in football at all costs, whether it’s as a player or in another role. He is very much looking forward to following in the footsteps of his parents, who also went to America, and achieving great success with his new team.
