Anouk van Kollenburg

As a setter, Anouk brings a blend of technical precision and speed to the court. Her ambition to combine these attributes more effectively underscores her dedication to improving her game and coordinating effective sets for her team. 

Anouk has an eye for every attacker. Her quick movement allows her to keep track of who, when to set. Of course, there is room for improvement, such as jump setups and rhythm between 1st and 2nd tempo attackers. Therefore, Anouk is very open to technical cues and quickly picks up on them. 

Anouk's training regimen reflects her commitment to growth and development. Despite her young age, she has always trained with older teammates, a testament to her maturity and willingness to challenge herself. One of her biggest strengths is her serve. Her powerful, unpredicted serve gives her the ability to score some free points during each match. 

Besides training at her own club, Anouk also trains at the NJOI academy twice a week to train with other talented, ambitious players from his region. To develop even faster. 

Anouk is currently enrolled in the VWO level, the highest level of high school in the Netherlands, showcasing her academic aptitude and dedication to her studies. She expects to graduate in June 2025 and is mostly interested in majoring in architecture or interior design related studies.
