Bodie Eskes

Bodie Eskes has 3 nationalities, namely Dutch, American and Canadian. In 2018, he was selected for the Baseball Academy Kennemerland, part of the national talent development program for baseball players U17. In 2022, Bodie has been selected to join Talent TeamNL, the U19 national talent development program, started by the national Olympic Committee and the Dutch Baseball Federation. In the 2023 season, Bodie did play for the Second team of DSS/Kinheim and made his debut in the Dutch Honkbal Hoofdklasse (highest division), where he will start in the 2024 season.

His major strengths are his coachability and motivation. He is always eager to learn and wants to become as good as possible. Bodie is very sociable and a real team player; together you win, together you lose.

Bodie is fast, defensively exceptionally skilled and game focused. He aims to become stronger, work hard on his hitting technique and gain more experience. We strongly believe there is still much room for improvement and his motivation, focus and coachability will certainly help with that.

- Barcelona Catalunya Baseball week U15

- Praag Pony League U17

- Toulouse U18 (TalentTeamNL mental resilience camp) with 3 games against French U18

- Mr Baseman award 2017 at his club

- Dutch Champion aspirants 1 in 2020

In the United States, Bodie aspires to maximize his potential as an athlete and a person, striving for excellence within his college Baseball team. After college, he wants to play Baseball at the highest possible level. His ultimate dream is to become a professional. 

He is currently enrolled in his final year of high school in the Netherlands and is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2024. So far, he doesn’t know what he wants to study.
