Dani Meisen

Dani's athletic goals are ambitious, aiming to become a National champion, achieve impressive personal bests, earn his bachelor's degree, and emerge as a successful student-athlete. He is open to embracing different training methods and styles while acknowledging the room for improvement from the previous year. As of the latest national rankings, he holds the 15th position in both the 1500m and 3000m events. Dani achieved a commendable 5th place at the Dutch Championship (track) in the 1500m U18 category.

Dani's notable achievements include a 5th place finish at the Dutch Nationals 1500m U18, a 4th place at the Dutch Nationals 1000m U14, and remarkable performances at a young age, including a 19:07 on a 5k at 12 years old, 3:06.29 on 1000m, and 2:24 on 800m.

1500m:  4:08.20

Dani's athletic journey began at the age of 10, transitioning from soccer to road running. In 2017, he joined the Junior Running Team and later moved to the track & field talent team at his club. While excelling in the 1500m, Dani is exploring his optimal track distance, considering the 3000m due to his outstanding endurance. His affinity for cross country and trail running stems from the challenging nature and longer distances involved.
