Eden Brouwers

Eden engaged in Track & Field at a very young age. She is currently training with her club team Prins Hendrik. As most young athletes, Eden started training multiple events. However, many athletes decide to focus on a specific even later on, but Eden remained training for the heptathlon as she is a very well-rounded athlete. Moreover, her throws are her strongest events, but there still is much room for improvement in other events as well. 

Her biggest strength is her explosiveness and power. This contributes to her strong performances in the throwing events. However, her physical strength is also her pitfall as Eden primarily uses muscular effort with less focus on her technique. We strongly believe there is still much room for improvement, especially if Eden keeps working on her technique and improves in this area.

Eden’s athletic goals are to perform at her absolute best for her college track team and have many victories with the team as well. Additionally, she would like to PB in all events across the board and get the maximum out of her (collegiate) athletic career.
