Elles van Kollenburg

Elles started playing volleyball at a young age at Volley2b, the club where she is still playing. She joined their first women’s team last year, and has experienced significant growth since then. 

An eager learner with an open mind, Elles is always seeking ways to improve her game. She values feedback and uses it as a tool for growth, demonstrating her commitment to continuous development. In addition to her club training, Elles dedicates her time to further honing her skills at the NJOI Academy. Where she trains with other talented players from the area. This commitment to extra training showcases her dedication and passion for the sport.

Elles's prowess in attacking and precise ball placement sets her apart on the court, making her a valuable asset to her team. While already strong in many areas, Elles is determined to enhance her service and defense skills even further. By making her serves more impactful and her defense more competitive, she aims to increase her contribution to the team's success and make a greater impact during matches.

Academically, Elles is enrolled in VWO, the highest level of high school in the Netherlands. She expects to graduate in June 2025, but hasn't yet decided what she wants to major in.
