Emile is very all-round and does not have many weakensses on court. He acknowledges the need for improvement in his service game. Enhancing his serve will play a pivotal role in bolstering his offensive play. He plans to achieve this by dedicating extensive practice time to serving, refining his technique, and minimizing errors in this aspect of his game.

Achievements:

Emile's tennis journey has been marked by numerous accomplishments. He began his competitive journey at a young age, representing the Dutch tennis association (KNLTB) at just 10 or 11 years old. In doubles, he reached the quarterfinals of a Tennis Europe tournament in Zoetermeer. Additionally, he has clinched victory in several 1-star and 2-star tournaments in the Netherlands in both singles and doubles. Emile has also secured multiple youth titles in Belgium across various age categories, including both bronze and silver-level tournaments. His accolades include winning the Men's 4 category multiple times and reaching the doubles semifinals in men's open category tournaments in Belgium. He has also reached the finals of two men's open events in Belgium.

- Win over Olaf van der Stam (Virginia Wesleyan, UTR 6.57): 64 62

- Loss to Sverre van der Burg (UTR 8.57): 36 36

- Emile has a doubles UTR of 8.6 following several impressive wins over UTR 8 and 9 teams.

Academics:

Emile is currently in the last year of high school in the Netherlands. He maintains a solid academic record with a GPA of 3.5. While he is in the process of exploring his academic interests, he is committed to his education and is open to discovering the field of study that best aligns with his passions and career aspirations. His willingness to embrace academic challenges mirrors his determination on the tennis court, making him a well-rounded student-athlete ready to embark on the next chapter of his academic and athletic journey. Emile is scheduled to gradate from high school in the spring of 2024.
