Hedda van Dort

Hedda is currently training in with her club at Den Haag Atletiek. At the age of 12, Hedda started her athletic journey, transitioning from a dedicated judo athlete to a promising Track and Field athlete. 

Dreaming beyond her current competitions in her home country, Hedda van Dort is excited to bring her sports career to the United States. While balancing her studies and pursuing her passion for athletics, she aims to contribute significantly to a college track and field team. Hedda is a very disciplined athlete and committed to continuous improvement.

400: 57.54 (2023)

Hedda still has a lot of room to improve on her 400m time. She is a strong short sprints athlete which means that she is very explosive and fast which enables her to develop easier on this event.

Currently, Hedda is actively involved in her athletic activities while maintaining academic excellence. Looking back on her journey, Hedda expresses excitement about the upcoming season. With a new perspective and a supportive coach, she is excited to see what she can do in this upcoming season.
