Jeroen van Oort
Meet Jeroen van Oort, a golfer who switched from playing soccer to focusing on golf at 14. He is a hard working player who is always looking to improve on every aspect of his golf game. His ultimate goal is become a tour pro and believes that college is the right path for him to develop himself towards that level. He is looking to join a strong college program in the fall of 2024.
About Jeroen van Oort
His strong suit is his mental game and skills in the short part of the game, especially from 110 yards. But, he knows he needs to get better at hitting the ball far and using his driver. Even though he can hit the fairway with his driver, he's working on making his swings less flat and getting stronger by going to the gym.
His best tournament round is a 73, showing he's making some real progress in his game. In the Netherlands he played at the second highest level of competition with the team from his home course. Now, he's part of the University Golf Program in Malaga. Here he is working full time on his golf game, improving his skills and playing lots of tournaments.
