Jip Langerhuizen (5'11), born in 2006, is a right handed tennis player from the Netherlands. He is looking to join a determined and ambitious college tennis program for the fall of 2024.
Jip trains at TV Zwijndrecht, where he managed to reach a ITF Junior ranking of 1400, and a UTR of 10.43. His athletic abilities definitely helped him to get there, as he is an extremely good mover around the court. Jip is fast, strong, and has great endurance.
Other than his physical strength, he has shown great perseverance throughout matches and tournaments. His focus level and composure allow him to perform well during mentally challenging matches.
Jip is currently enrolled in the VWO (highest level) education in the Netherlands. He is expected to graduate High School in the summer of 2024.
During his time in the States, Jip would like to spend a lot of hours on court. This will help him to become even more fit, but also gain more experience as a player. On court he would like to work on his groundstroke consistency, and also develop his serve into his biggest weapon! He can't wait to have a coach working with him that has the same dedication to that process.
