Lars Herms
Lars Herms (2008) is a very eager tennis player who loves nothing more than spending the entire day on the court or engaged in physical training. The right-handed player stands 6’1’’ tall and plays with an aggressive forehand, allowing him to put significant pressure on his opponents. He also has a strong serve, which helps him win his service games consistently.
About Lars Herms
Currently, Lars is in high school and expects to graduate in June 2025 from Citadel College. In the Fall of 2025, he aims to join a college tennis team. He is interested in studying physical therapy and other movement-related fields.
Lars' goal is to achieve the highest possible tennis level in America. His biggest area for improvement is his backhand, and he is already working on this, training at one of the largest tennis academies in the Netherlands, House of Tennis. After his time in America, he plans to compete in national ranking tournaments in the Netherlands to earn points and establish himself in the Dutch rankings.
Lars' biggest achievement to date is winning the singles title at the Provincial Youth Championships of Gelderland. In 2023, he also won another singles tournament and secured two titles in doubles.
