Competitive Background:

Laureen competes for TV Griffensteyn at the national and regional levels. Her journey in tennis began with casual training while pursuing a career in field hockey as well. Over time, her passion for tennis grew, leading her to invest more time in training, as well as competing in leagues and tournaments. Laureen played for Shot in the recent fall season but has returned to her home club, Griffensteyn. Notably, she has remained injury-free throughout her tennis career. Over the last year, Laureen has posted several strong wins and close matches against opponents in the UTR 4 range.

Academics:

Laureen is a dedicated student-athlete, studying at the highest Dutch high school level, VWO (Voorbereidend Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs). She maintains an impressive academic record, boasting a GPA of 3.82. While she has not yet decided on her major, her commitment to her academic journey is evident in her strong academic performance.
