Lize van Veen

Currently attending RSG Slingerbos, Lize is pursuing the highest level of education in the Netherlands, known as VWO. Expected to graduate in June 2024, she combines her academic endeavors with her passion for tennis, striking a balance between her studies and her pursuit of athletic excellence.

One of Lize's strengths is her adeptness at the net, which is complemented by her unwavering determination and mental fortitude, allowing her to remain focused and composed even in challenging situations. With her unyielding dedication, Lize embraces hard work and never shies away from putting in the necessary effort to improve her skills.

In her pursuit of growth, Lize sets her sights on enhancing two particular aspects of her game during her time in the United States. Firstly, she aims to bolster the power behind her serve, seeking to add an extra punch to her deliveries. Secondly, Lize desires to incorporate more spin into her forehand, enriching her repertoire of shots and increasing her versatility on the court.
