About Lotte Zethof

Lotte's journey in the world of track and field commenced at a tender age. At just 6 years old, she became an active member of her local club team, AV Aalsmeer. Embracing a diverse athletic background, she initially dabbled in various disciplines, yet it was the running events where she primarily excelled in. By the time she turned 15, Lotte's focus had narrowed to mid-distance running, although her versatility remained evident through her participation in distance races, cross country, steeplechase, and long hurdles. This multifaceted skill set positions her as a strong performer within any team setting.

Furthermore, Lotte's affinity for the steeplechase surfaced in the subsequent year. Displaying her well-rounded athleticism, she also explored running 400m hurdles in 2022, achieving her standout performance in this event. Notably, Lotte secured an excellent 10th place finish at the Dutch National U20 Championships in 2022. Another highlight was her remarkable performance in cross country, where she placed 3rd with her team at the National XC meet and earned an individual 5th place.

She graduated from the highest level of high school in The Netherlands (VWO) in 2021 and is currently enrolled in the 3rd year of her bachelor in Sociology at Amsterdam University, where her education is mainly in English.
