Lukas Gruben

With a strategic playing style, Lukas identifies himself as a counter player, relying on his defensive prowess to outmaneuver opponents. His backhand side is particularly strong, allowing him to consistently retrieve difficult shots and turn them into offensive opportunities.

As Lukas sets his sights on joining a college tennis program in the fall of 2024, he is committed to enhancing his game further. Currently, he is dedicating his efforts to improving his net play and serve, with the aim of gaining more free points during matches.

He is currently enrolled in high school at the highest level in the Netherlands, Lukas is expected to graduate in May 2024. With his passion for tennis and dedication to continual improvement, Lukas is poised to make a significant impact in college tennis and beyond.

A highlight of Lukas's junior career was attaining the number one ranking in his age group under 16 in the country. This accomplishment serves as a testament to his determination and skill.
