Maud Visscher

Maud started her athletic career doing various events such as jumps, hurdles and throws. Begin 2020 she started training with coach Joop Tervoort, who is the former coach of Olympian and student-athlete Jorinde van Klinken. Maud made lots of progress here and PB-ed in all throwing events during the 2021 outdoor season. That season she was Nationally ranked 1st U18 in shot, 4th in discus and 5th in hammer. Recently (May 2023), Maud threw the standard for Europeans U20 in shot put with a new PB of 14.46m. In August 2023 she competed during the U20 European Championship in Jerusalem. 

Maud is a very motivated athlete who's is dedicated to become a stronger, better and more well-rounded athlete. She trains hard every day and is currently working to improve her technique. Maud is primarily doing shot put, but wants to train discus and hammer more often to become better and more experienced in these events as well. She is a quick learner and does everything in order to reach accomplish her goals. 

Her current PB's include:

Shot put (3kg): 15.25m (2022)

Shot put (4kg): 14.71m (2023)

Discus (1kg): 44.20m (2023)

Hammer (4kg): 44,98m (2023)

Her goals in the US are to become a stronger and more experienced athlete. She wants to PB in all events and get the most out of her athletic career and perform well for her school. Her ultimate goal is to become an Olympian. 

Maud height is 180cm (5'11) and she weighs 81kg (178lbs).
