Mechak Bula Bula

Mechak started doing track & field at a very young age. Inspired by her older siblings, Mechak joined her local club team together with her twin sister Chadrak. Both girls immediately fell in love with the sport and have been engaged in track since. Currently, Mechak is training with her club team Vabco Mol atletiek and focuses on the sprint events. 

This strong and highly motivated athlete always gives a 100% effort both in training and competitions. Mechak doesn’t give up easily and is always looking for ways to improve herself and become the best athlete she can possible be. Mechak is currently working to improve her running form and her aerobic capacity to maintain top speed towards the final stretch of her 400m.

Mechak had various successes throughout her athletic career including several medals at the Belgium Junior National Championships indoors and outdoors in various events. In 2022 she placed 3rd (outdoors) and 2nd (indoors) at the Belgium National Championships U18 racing the 400m. This past indoor season 22-23 she added another medal to her collection with a 3rd place in the 400m. Mechak was also nominated for the Flemish sports cup because of her outstanding athletic performances. 

In the USA she would like to develop as an athlete, perform at her absolute best running PBs for her college track team. Mechak dreams of racing at highly competitive meets.
