Sietse Pol

Sietse Pol currently plays volleyball for Dros Alterno in the Dutch third division as an outside hitter. He brings a solid set of skills to the volleyball court, known for his hardworking and attacking style.

While Sietse excels in his role, he recognizes the need to add a more aggressive edge to his playing style. Sietse is an athlete who jumps easily, can accelerate in his approach and has good passing skills. Thanks to his position on the court, he asserts his leadership skills within the team. This awareness demonstrates his commitment to personal growth and improvement on the court.

Beyond indoor volleyball, Sietse is also a great beach volleyball player. He loves playing under different circumstances. He also became second (U17) and third (U19) at the Dutch National Beach Championships in the last two years, showcasing his versatility and adaptability in different settings.

Off the field, Sietse is not just an athlete but also a standout student, currently pursuing his high school education at the VWO level (the highest level of high school in the Netherlands). Sietse expects to graduate in June 2024. His major interests revolve around physical therapy or something related to that. Sietse's dedication to both his athletic and academic pursuits makes him a well-rounded individual, poised for success both on and off the volleyball field.
