Stefan Mos

Standing at 185 cm (6 feet 1 inch), Stefan Mos has consistently excelled throughout his junior career, maintaining a top-10 position in the Netherlands from the age of 11. He's been a regular participant in the national championships, reaching the semifinals in doubles. Currently ranked 114th in men's tennis in the Netherlands and 5th for his age category, Stefan has notched victories against players with impressive UTR ratings, with his best win against an opponent boasting a UTR of 11.30. His experience extends to the ITF circuit, where he conquered the 500th-ranked player (UTR 11.07) and narrowly lost in a supertiebreak to the 270th-ranked ITF junior player (UTR 11.67).

What sets Stefan apart is his indomitable fighting spirit, a quality that keeps him persevering, no matter the score. On the court, he showcases exceptional movement, a powerful counter backhand, and a heavy forehand. His return game is sharp, and he excels at counter-punching. As an all-around player, he can adeptly adapt to various playstyles and is equally proficient at the net, particularly in doubles. Stefan's keen ability to spot and exploit his opponents' weaknesses is a testament to his tactical prowess.

To continue elevating his game, Stefan recognizes the need to enhance his first and second service and his attacking forehand. His approach to refining his forehand involves a proactive strategy of using it more aggressively in match situations to build familiarity and confidence.

Outside of tennis, Stefan's diverse interests are evident in his involvement with a kart racing team and the robotica club during his high school years. He delved into subjects like engineering, technology and design, focusing on research and development, and his participation in building and programming various devices. Stefan is not just a tennis standout but a versatile scholar, with a passion for fields like Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and computer system analysis. His academic prowess is demonstrated by his engagement in challenging subjects, exceeding the typical course load, and his commitment to research and reporting.
