Tygo Rojer

Tygo, a right handed star player from the Netherlands has been playing baseball for a while now. Ever since his first appearance for the Dutch junior national team at the European Championships U12 he is unstoppable. He played for 4 years at the Rotterdam Unicorns Academy set up by former Yankee player Robert Eenhoorn and is currently active in the Dutch Major league. His ultimate goal after college is to enter the MLB draft and go pro. 

Tygo is not a stranger when it comes to being selection for the Dutch national junior teams. In 2022, he played at the European Championship U18 and finished second. During this tournament he made an appearance in every game. This resulted in Tygo playing with the European All Star team U19 at a tournament in Germany. He also scored 3 doubles during a  tournament in Aruba. He made his debut in the Dutch Major League when he was just 17 years old.

Arm velocity from the outfield : 86.6 - measured in summer 2023

60 yard: 6.90

Tygo was in the pre selection for the World Championships U18 in Taiwan. He mainly plays infield and prefers the position at first and third base. Recently he also started playing outfield to better his chances for the Junior and Senior Dutch national team. 

Tygo will finish high school in the summer of 2024 and is now looking for a strong college for the Fall of 2024 where he can continue to improve.
