Emma Staal – Women’s Tennis

In this article, we will tell you more about student-athlete Emma Staal. Furthermore, at the bottom of this article, you will find the video in which Emma shares more about herself.

Sports: Tennis

Entry semester: Fall 2024

Emma Staal is 19 years old and lives with her parents and younger brother in Muiden. Emma has been playing tennis since she was eleven and immediately fell in love with the sport. She uses every hour of every day to be on the court and still prefers to do so.

In her daily life, Emma is an extroverted person who greatly enjoys socializing and making new friends. Her friends describe her as a ‘social butterfly.’ On the tennis court, Emma is an aggressive player with a powerful serve, but her real weapon is her backhand. She is also very passionate and always fights for every point.

In America, Emma hopes to learn a lot about herself and, above all, to make significant progress as a tennis player. Her life goal is to extract everything she can and to be happy with her friends and family. Emma is highly motivated to join a great team and to cheer on and motivate all her teammates in America.

‘’I am very motivated and I really enjoy cheering for my teammates.’’
