Thomas Geukemeijer – Men’s tennis

In this article, we will tell you more about student-athlete Thomas Geukemeijer. Furthermore, at the bottom of this article, you will find the video in which Thomas shares more about himself.

Sports: Tennis

Entry semester: Fall 2024

Thomas Geukemeijer is 16 years old and lives with his parents and older sister in Heythuysen. He started playing tennis at the age of six. At this age, he also began playing soccer, but at the age of thirteen, he decided to fully concentrate on tennis.

In his daily life, Thomas is a calm and social boy. He is highly motivated and enjoys learning and experiencing new things. However, on the field, he is very energetic and always fights for every point. Thomas is also a true perseverer and team player; he always ensures to make the most out of every situation for himself and his teammates.

During his time in America, Thomas will do everything in his power to become the best version of himself. Both in terms of sports and academics, Thomas will strive to maximize his potential, so he can look back on a period where he gave his all to develop himself as much as possible. Additionally, Thomas hopes to make many new friends and thus have an unforgettable adventure in America.
