Dalma Juhasz

Dalma started playing golf when she was 12 years old. At the age of 14 she decided to take it more seriously and created her goal to become a professional golf player. Since then her development has gone really quickly. In November 2020 she changed homecourses and started playing at a better course with better coaching. From that moment on her development went really quickly. 

In 2022, Dalma had a great season. In a timespan of 10 months, she lowered her handicap from 9.9 to 1.4. She has won multiple regional tournaments and is ranked 5th out of 538 Dutch girls born in 2003 looking at the handicap. She also improved a lot on her short game and putting, which enabled her to make more up and downs and with that also lower scores. She is now working on the physical aspect of the game a lot to build more strength and speed. This should enable her to hit the ball further and get more scoring distances per round on her approaches. 

Her best result so far is a competitive round of level par with 5 birdies and 5 bogeys. 

Dalma is a hard worker on the course but also in the classroom. She finished the highest level of high school in The Netherlands (VWO) in the spring of 2022 with a GPA of 3.66 and is now taking a gap year to fully focus on golf and improve her game to be ready for her transition into college golf. She is interested in pursuing a bachelor in Psychology or International Law.
