Wout Kerkhofs

Wout started his golfing career pretty late compared to other players from his age and level. Wout started when he was 14 years old. In his first year he already won the junior regional tournament and he has won this event every year since then. Wout is now practicing almost every day of the week on Golfclub Midden Brabant to keep in improving and win more national and also international tournaments. 

Wout his strengths are his ball striking with his irons and his length off the tee. Wout is 6’1 (186cm) which enables him to create a huge ark and some high swing speed with the driving clubs! Since Wout started playing golf and now, Wout has made a tremendous improvement. Wout currently plays off a handicap of 4.2 and has a tournament scoring average of around 77. Because of his short career, he still has some room for improvement! One of the things that he would like to improve on is his consistency and course management. This can really help him to shoot lower scores and lower his scoring averages. 

This year Wout also noted some good results in the Dutch Kids Tour tournaments. He had 1 national win and a 2nd place during one of these national ranked tournaments. He is looking to improve on that next year as well!

Wout is currently in his first year of the bachelor Finance & Control. He is looking to make a transfer in the fall of 2023 and continue his study in this area. He should have 4 years of eligibility left.
