Raoul Kerkdijk is 17 years old and lives with his parents in Apeldoorn. He started playing football when he was five years old. However, at the age of twelve, he no longer found football enjoyable, and at that point, he began playing volleyball with his friends. Volleyball turned out to be the perfect fit for Raoul, and he started playing more and more.
In his everyday life, Raoul is a calm and social person. He is also very empathetic, always trying to help others. On the athletic front, Raoul is a highly motivated and eager athlete. He is self-critical and constantly strives to learn new things to improve himself. Because of his character, Raoul is also a true team player who can consistently push both himself and his teammates to bring out the best in everyone.
During his time in America, Raoul aims to become the best volleyball player he can be. He is aware that there is much to learn in America and is determined to do so. Furthermore, Raoul is enthusiastic about experiencing the culture and sports scene in America.
