Stian Klaassen

Stian Klaassen is a right-handed Dutch tennis player who is looking for an ambitious and strong college tennis team starting in the Fall of 2021. Stian lives in Canada and won the Dutch national championships U16 in 2019.

Stian started playing tennis in his early years and has been training for over 6 times a week since the age of 13. He moved to Canada with his family at age 14 and continued playing over at Mayfair West. He climbed as high as #383 on the ITF Juniors rankings when he was 16 years old.

Stian is a fast and smart tennis player, he plays aggressive, attacks the net as much as possible and has a good touch. His forehand is his weapon and he has a one-handed backhand. Stian moves well and tries to play with as much variety as possible and wants to improve his serve and volleys to be able to play quick points. His ultimate goal is to become a pro player after college. Some of his best wins include:

Win over Linus Carlsson Halldin (UTR 12.8) 57 64 64
Win over Lucas Brown (UTR 12.2) 64 62
Win over Maxime Mareschal-Hay (UTR 12.1) 75 46 64
